Retail management

Retail management is focused on maintaining and growing the value of our retail assets. This can be achieved by maintaining and improving the dominant positions of our assets, but also by proactive management by each of our experienced teams: commercial, technical/facility, promotional and financial. In this way we are continually improving  the quality of our assets. Our strategy is to offer our tenants and the visitors a clean, safe, full-service and attractive shopping center. Through intensive cooperation with retailers,  we develop new marketing strategies and concepts to increase turnover and maximize our rental income. 

 

Our Return on Retail strategy is therefore focused on maximizing:

- the value of our assets through dominant location

- the value of our assets by timely refurbishment/redevelopment

- the rental income through new leasing contracts

- the rental income through helping our tenants to grow the turnover

 

Part of our portfolio (stand-alone shops, co-owned and smaller shopping centers) are still managed by external management organizations, however in the next few years we will be systematically bringing management in-house.

 

 

Quality management    

By managing our assets we can continually work structurally on improving their quality. We are directly involved in shopping center management on a day-to-day business. This means we are able to anticipate changes in retailer and consumer needs and trends. This enables us to respond proactively. The value of retail management is measured through Key Performance Indicators.
