Rodamco Europe is an investment company with variable capital and qualifies as a Fiscal Investment Institution under Dutch law. No corporate income tax is due in the Netherlands when conditions of the Dutch Corporate Income Tax Act are met. Rodamco Europe also elected for French SIIC. Income and capital gains thereof are exempt from tax in France.  

 

Rodamco Europe is included in the AEX and the MSCI World Indices.

 

Standard & Poor’s rates Rodamco Europe as ‘single­ A with stable outlook’, which is the best rating in the European property sector.

 

Rodamco Europe’s aim is to be fully transparent to our stakeholders and other interested parties: (potential) shareholders, customers, employees, financial services providers, analysts, rating agencies and the media. We focus on a timely, equal and adequate supply of transparent information, also via our website, on financial results, strategy and developments within the Group. 

Rodamco Europe aims for an optimal capital structure from both risk and return perspectives. As we have a long-term investment horizon, we actively seek long-term financing. From a stable cash earnings perspective, we aim for a mix of floating and fixed-rate financing. Non-euro investments are funded or hedged in the same non-euro currency.

 

Appropriate and intelligent risk management is an integral part of our business. Success relies on optimizing the trade-off between risk and reward. We believe risk management is not only about managing downside risk. It is also the early identification of opportunities in changing market conditions and timely, risk-aware action to optimize added value for both our external and internal stakeholders. All aspects of risk –strategic, operational and financial-  have been identified and management structures put in place. Rodamco Europe has a dedicated corporate risk management function that monitors existing and identifies new risk potential. At home market level in the Netherlands, local risk is monitored in cooperation with Corporate Center.
